Hi! I’m Haolan Xu (许皓岚), currently a visiting student in Michigan State University, working with Prof. Xiaoming Liu. Previously, I was a visiting student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with Prof. Narendra Ahuja. Before that, I got my MSCS in University of Florida, working with Prof. Jorg Peters, and my Bachelor’s degree in Sichuan University.

My goal is to develop physically grounded 3D and 4D multimodal representations for scene-aware perception and generation, enabling intelligent systems to understand, predict, and interact with dynamic real-world scenes. I have been exploring the following research directions:

• Digital Human
• Generative Model
• Physics Simulation

Outside of work, I love traveling, NBA, and F1.
